Billie Walters - Hospitality Services

Growing up near Marshall, Arkansas as one of seven children on a small truck farm, Billie dreamed her life would take her as far away from handling food as possible. But like so many of us, she learned God’s plan is the best. With over 30 years of experience in the food service industry, Billie sold her Monett business, the Brown Bag, and joined our staff in January, 2008. Her knowledge and contacts are broadening the scope of what we offer during summer camp as well as our retreat season.

“I’ve always felt a connection to camp but never thought I’d be a part of this ministry. Now it feels like home, like I’ve always been here. Knowing that I can serve people by using all God has taught me to feed them physically is very rewarding.” Billie recently assumed the responsibilities of coordinating our retreat season, including coordinating retreats, banquets, catering, weddings and receptions. Billie has one daughter, Angela.
