CAMP BARNABAS TEAS TRAIL  (Purdy, MO):

PLEASE DO NOT GOOGLE OR MAPQUEST this CAMP location - THESE SOURCES WILL NOT BRING YOU HERE. THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW CONNECT YOU TO CAMP FROM ANY DIRECTION YOU MAY COME . 

Directions from Tulsa, Oklahoma:

Take I-44 E toward TURNPIKE/ JOPLIN (Portions toll) (Crossing into MISSOURI).  About 20 miles east of Joplin, take Exit 26 for MO-37/I-44 toward Reeds/Sarcoxie. Turn right onto MO-37. Go about one-half mile and turn left to stay on Highway 37. Go 2.3 miles and turn right to stay on Highway 37. Go about 12 miles to Pierce City. Once in Pierce City, just past the Casey's, turn right onto Highway 97. When you come to the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 60, continue going straight for five miles. Turn RIGHT onto FARM ROAD 2060. (There is a big blue house on the corner and a Camp Barnabas sign.) Follow FARM ROAD 2060 until it dead ends at the gate to Camp Barnabas.

Directions to Camp Barnabas MO from Springfield, Missouri:

Take Highway 60 West to Monett (see note above about detour west of Aurora). Remain on Highway 60 through Monett.  Go about seven miles and turn left on MO-97. Turn LEFT onto MO-97.  Turn RIGHT onto MO-97/ FARM ROAD 2140.  Turn LEFT onto MO-97.  Continue to follow MO-97. Turn RIGHT onto FARM ROAD 2060. (There is a big blue house on the corner).  Follow FARM ROAD 2060 until it dead ends at the gate to Camp Barnabas.  NOTE:  If you are used to coming through Pierce City to reach Camp Barnabas, Highway 97 south from Pierce City to Highway 60 will be closed until around the end of July for construction of a bridge.

DIRECTIONS TO CAMP BARNABAS MO FROM ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI:

Take I-44 W toward JOPLIN.  Take Exit 38 for MO-97 toward Pierce City/Stotts City. Turn left onto MO-97 South. Turn right to stay on MO-97 South. Turn left to stay on MO-97 South. Once in Pierce City, turn right onto 37 and then turn left on Highway 97 South. When you come to the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 60, continue going straight for five miles. Turn RIGHT onto FARM ROAD 2060. (There is a big blue house on the corner and a Camp Barnabas sign.) Follow FARM ROAD 2060 until it dead ends at the gate to Camp Barnabas.

Directions to Camp Barnabas MO from Kansas City, Missouri:

Take Highway 71 south to Joplin. Take I-44 E toward Springfield. About 20 miles east of Joplin, take Exit 26 for MO-37/I-44 toward Reeds/Sarcoxie. Turn right onto MO-37. Directions to Camp Barnabas MO from Fayetteville, Arkansas:

Take I-540 N/ US-71 N/ US-62 E toward BENTONVILLE/ROGERS.  Take the US-62/ AR-102 exit, EXIT 86, toward BENTONVILLE/ ROGERS.  Turn RIGHT onto SE 14TH ST/ US-62. Continue to follow US-62.  Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto AR-94/ N 8TH ST. Continue to follow AR-94.  Stay STRAIGHT to go onto NE HUDSON RD/ US-62. Continue to follow US-62.  Turn LEFT onto AR-37 (Crossing into MISSOURI).  Turn LEFT onto MO-B.  Turn RIGHT onto MO-97.  Turn LEFT onto FARM ROAD 2060(There is a big blue house on the corner).  Follow FARM ROAD 2060 until it dead ends at the gate to Camp Barnabas.

 

CAMP BARNABAS - POINT 11:

Camp Barnabas - Point 11 is located on the campus of Point 11 camp at 1380 Eternity Lane, Shell Knob, Missouri.

 

COMING FROM SPRINGFIELD, MO:

 

Take Highway 60 east from Springfield. In Aurora, turn left onto Highway 39 south. Go about 25 miles. Turn left onto Stallion Bluff Road. Go a little less than one mile and take the second right to continue on Stallion Bluff Road. Go about 2.2 miles and turn right to stay on Stallion Bluff Road. Go about 1.6 miles and turn right to stay on Stallion Bluff Road. Go 8.5 miles and turn left onto Eternity Lane. Point 11 will be on your right.

 

COMING FROM FAYETTEVILLE, AR:

 

Take I-540 North. Take the US-62/ AR-102 exit, EXIT 86, toward BENTONVILLE/ ROGERS.  Turn RIGHT onto SE 14TH ST/ US-62. Continue to follow US-62.  Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto AR-94/ N 8TH ST. Continue to follow AR-94.  Stay STRAIGHT to go onto NE HUDSON RD/ US-62. Continue to follow US-62. Turn LEFT onto AR-37 (Crossing into MISSOURI). At Cassville, turn right onto MO-86/MO-76/MO-112/MO-37-BR/Main St. Turn left onto MO-76/MO-86. Continue to follow MO-76. Turn right onto MO-39/MO-76. Continue to follow MO-39. Turn left onto Stallion Bluff Road. Go a little less than one mile and take the second right to continue on Stallion Bluff Road. Go about 2.2 miles and turn right to stay on Stallion Bluff Road. Go about 1.6 miles and turn right to stay on Stallion Bluff Road. Go 8.5 miles and turn left onto Eternity Lane. Point 11 will be on your right.

 

FROM TULSA, OKLAHOMA:

 

Take I-44 East toward Joplin (parts toll). Past the exit for Afton, Oklahoma, follow the signs for Highway 60 East. Follow Highway 60 east through Neosho, Missouri and Monett, Missouri. In Aurora, turn right on Highway 39 south. Go about 25 miles. Turn left onto Stallion Bluff Road. Go a little less than one mile and take the second right to continue on Stallion Bluff Road. Go about 2.2 miles and turn right to stay on Stallion Bluff Road. Go about 1.6 miles and turn right to stay on Stallion Bluff Road. Go 8.5 miles and turn left onto Eternity Lane. Point 11 will be on your right.

 

FROM KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI:

 

Take Highway 71 south to Joplin. Take I-44 E toward Springfield. Take the MO-39/MO-265 exit, EXIT 46, toward Mount Vernon/Aurora. Turn right onto MO-39/MO-265. Go about 10 miles. Turn right onto S Elliott Ave/MO-39/MO-265. Continue to follow MO-39. Go about 27 miles. Turn left onto Stallion Bluff Road. Go a little less than one mile and take the second right to continue on Stallion Bluff Road. Go about 2.2 miles and turn right to stay on Stallion Bluff Road. Go about 1.6 miles and turn right to stay on Stallion Bluff Road. Go 8.5 miles and turn left onto Eternity Lane. Point 11 will be on your right.

 

FROM ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI:

 

Take I-44 West to Springfield, Missouri. Merge onto MO-360 E/James River Fwy via EXIT 69 toward US-60. Take the MO-413/US-60 W exit toward Springfield/Republic. Turn right onto US-60 W/MO-413 S. Continue to follow US-60 W. Follow to Aurora. In Aurora, turn left onto Highway 39 south. Go about 25 miles. Turn left onto Stallion Bluff Road. Go a little less than one mile and take the second right to continue on Stallion Bluff Road. Go about 2.2 miles and turn right to stay on Stallion Bluff Road. Go about 1.6 miles and turn right to stay on Stallion Bluff Road. Go 8.5 miles and turn left onto Eternity Lane. Point 11 will be on your right. 

 

CAMP BARNABAS - MEMPHIS:

Camp Barnabas - Memphis is located in southwest Memphis on the campus of The Grove at Red Oak Lake at 849 Rocky Point Road, Cordova, Tennessee.  

 

Coming from I-55 headed south:

I 55 South to I 40 East – entering TN, take exit 12 C, merge I 40 E toward Nashville. Take exit 16 toward Germantown. Merge onto Germantown Parkway. Go 2.8 miles. Turn left onto Macon Rd. - Go 0.6 miles. Turn left to stay onto  Macon Rd. – Go 0.1 miles. Turn right to stay on Macon Rd. – Go 0.8 miles. Turn right on to Sanga Rd. – Go 0.2 miles. Take the first left onto Rocky Point Rd. Go 1.1 miles. The Grove at Red Oak Lake will be on your right. 

 

Coming from I-55 headed north:

I 55 North to exit 13 for Walnut Grove Road – Go 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Walnut Grove Road. Go 7 miles. Turn left onto Rocky Point Road – Go 1.4 Miles. The Grove at Red Oak Lake will be on your left.    Coming from 1-40 headed west: I-40 west toward Memphis. Take Exit 16A toward Germantown – Go 0.3 miles. Merge onto Germantown Parkway – go 2.8 miles. Turn left onto Macon Rd. - Go 0.6 miles. Turn left to stay onto  Macon Rd. – Go 0.1 miles. Turn right to stay on Macon Rd. – Go 0.8 miles. Turn right on to Sanga Rd. – Go 0.2 miles. Take the first left onto Rocky Point Rd. Go 1.1 miles.The Grove at Red Oak Lake will be on your right.

   

Coming from I-40 headed east:

CAMP BARNABAS - DEER CREEK: 

Camp Barnabas - Deer Creek is on the grounds of Deer Creek Adventure Camp outside Medina, Texas.

 

FROM AUSTIN, TX:

Take Highway 290 through Johnson City to Fredericksburg. In Fredericksburg take Hwy 16 West through Kerrville to Medina. At the west end of Medina, go west on FM 337 for 1.5 miles. Turn left on Elm Creek Road and go one-half  mile, crossing the west fork of the Medina River. Watch for the stone entry gate on the right.

 

FROM NEW BRAUNFELS, TX:

Take Highway 46 to Boerne and on to Pipe Creek. Turn and go north on Highway 16 through Bandera to Medina. At the west end of Medina, go west on FM 337 for 1.5 miles. Turn left on Elm Creek Road and go one-half  mile, crossing the west fork of the Medina River. Watch for the stone entry gate on the right.

 

FROM SAN ANTONIO, TX:

Take Highway 16 through Bandera to Medina. At the west end of Medina, go west on FM 337 for 1.5 miles. Turn left on Elm Creek Road and go one-half  mile, crossing the west fork of the Medina River. Watch for the stone entry gate on the right.
