Q.  How does it work?

A:  Each person gives $5 and asks 5 of their friends to give $5 and to ask 5 of their friends to give $5 and on and on. The exponential of giving $5 to the power of 10 is $12,207,030. The current cost of of tuition for one camper is $650. A fully-funded Give Me 5 campaign will sponsor campers for the next 14 years...which is exactly how long we've been serving these incredible people.

 

Q:  What do I say?

A:  Just tell your friends about Camp Barnabas.  Explain how important this ministry is in the lives of people with special needs and life-threatening illnesses. If you've been here, share your personal experiences. If you haven't, then click here to learn the facts.

 

Q:  How can I spread the word?

A: Use everything in your daily life...Facebook, Twitter, texting, e-mail...however you communicate with your friends.

 

Q:  What if I can't get 5 people?

A:  Jesus showed us clearly in the parable of the loaves and fishes that He uses whatever we have to bring Him glory. So, whatever you raise will still help provide for a special person to attend camp.

 

Q:  What if I get more than 5 people?

A: That's great. We believe God will use this possibility to spread the word about what He is accomplishing in and through the ministry of Camp Barnabas. The more who know, the more can go.
