Ministry Partner Program (MP's)

As our campers learn and grow in Christ, they often ask us for the opportunity to give back to our camp ministry through serving. The Ministry Partner (MP) program is designed to make this possible.

MP's attend a regular week of camp each summer as a camper. They return another week of camp as a volunteer. In this role, they assist in preparing for the nightly parties, help with office tasks, maintenance work, gardening, mail sorting and delivery, kitchen work or delivering water and Freeze (Popsicles) to the other campers and volunteers.

Not everyone qualifies for our MP program and openings are limited. Being an MP is a commitment that takes hard work, but it is also very rewarding.

COST:  Serving at Camp Barnabas is a life changing experience for every volunteer. It costs the camp for housing and food, therefore, we ask you to pay a $175 volunteer fee to help defray this cost. The work here is considered a missions trip and we give you two options to help cover the cost of your trip:  Raise the $175 to cover the cost of your CIA work or raise $700 to cover the cost of one camper’s tuition, and then your volunteer fee will be absorbed into the funds you raised.

If you want to be considered for an MP position

Email George White at george@campbarnabas.org. He will email you with the link to the interest form when our technical issues have been resolved. For questions about the program, you may email him or call him at 417-737-7079.
