Price Cutter Charity Championship

Nationwide tour event to benefit area charities that serve children

For the past 21 years, the Nationwide Tour has made a stop in Springfield, Missouri. And for all of those 21 years the tournament hosts have used the event as a way to benefit regional charities who serve children.

Two out of every three PGA golfers have played on the Nationwide Tour. Former winners of the Springfield event, which takes place each summer at the Highland Springs Country Club, include Stewart Cink and Chris DeMarco.

This year's activities run August August 5 - 16   with tournament play scheduled August 12 - 15.

Camp Barnabas has received close to $100,000 over the years we have been chosen as beneficiary.

The John Q. Hammonds Foundation serves as host for the tournament, which is sponsored by Price Cutter, Dr. Pepper and other area organizations and businesses.

Camp Barnabas is grateful to those involved with this tournament, especially Price Cutter who has sponsored the event since its inception and been very helpful to our organization.
