Roger Osborne - Facilities Manager

Roger Osborne serves as the facilities manager for Camp Barnabas. He is a tinkerer at heart and those skills help him with the many construction and renovation projects always underway on the grounds at camp.

Roger graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in finance and economics. He is married to Kay, a professor at Drury University in Springfield. They have two children, Natalie and Katlyn. Katlyn attends school in Springfield. Natalie, and her husband, Jeff, recently moved back to Springfield from Chicago and are expecting Roger and Kay's first grandchild. The family also has a dog, Jackson.

Roger served as regional sales director for AAA (American Automobile Association) from 1978 to 1996. In 1996 the family moved to northwestern Ontario, Canada where they operated a hunting and fishing lodge until 2004 when they returned to Springfield. Roger also owns a storage rental business and several rental houses.

Roger says his bad habits include hunting, fishing, canoeing and all activities outdoors.
