Toni Freeman - Head Wrangler
God has worked in amazing ways to bring Toni to Camp Barnabas. She grew up in a suburb of Kansas City then moved to Joplin during her Sophomore year of college. It was there that she began her deep involvement in the agricultural industry. She has
been an equine professional for over 15 years with experience stretching from riding instructor to horse trainer to program development to farrier to clinician. She has been involved in the equine side of Camp Barnabas even before it became Barnabas--when it was Camp Soaring Hawk.
Toni's focus always remains to maintain a safe environment where everyone enjoys a lifelong, positive experience with the horses. She believes that God is able to use the horses to speak to people in more meaningful ways than people can with words alone. She also believes that her long term involvement with Camp Barnabas has been one of the most important lessons she has been able to share with her children. "They have learned not only to accept everyone as they are, where they are, but to love people unconditionally as well."
