The Apostleship Program is designed for missionaries seeking additional leadership training and service beyond one week at camp. It includes rigorous times of service, caring for individuals with special needs, and leadership training. Apostles get the opportunity to fundraise for support for their position, which demands high expectations and standards, but our Directors will walk beside you and invest in you throughout the program.

Over the course of three weeks, apostles will spend time serving different areas of camp as directed by their immediate leaders (serving campers, serving siblings, etc.). The program includes bible studies led by our Directors as well as community time with others. The program is ideal for graduating sophomores and juniors in high school.

With the Apostleship program specifically, our heart is to develop you as leaders and encourage your knowledge and love of Jesus through your experience at Barnabas. The Apostleship Program works best for graduating Sophomores and Juniors in high school.

Because this is a three-week program during the summer the investment to participate is $800. This helps cover meals and lodging. Apostle investments also cover programming, activities, adaptive measures, safety resources and medical supplies. Any remaining amount goes to our camper scholarship fund to further aid our campers with special needs in getting to camp!

Many of our apostles go on to lead a life in ministry; that's why we encourage apostles to fundraise their fee in the hopes of teaching additional ministry skills while also pushing them to rely on the Lord even more. If you have questions about this, we'd be happy to answer!
